Write to your local congressman, and write to each of the drug companies directly. Many have a program that can get your scripts for free, or at a reduced price. Not too many people have tried this but it works. My doctor wrote a letter also, and that with my letter, got some of these companies to respond. This country does not bargin with drug companies like Canada does. There is also a consumer advocasy group, that fights these issues. If you feel like joining this group and the fight, there is no charge. Mostly sign petitions to get the pharmacy industry to stop inflation.
The cost of my meds. before I got Medicare/medicaid, broke the bank, and destroyed all my savings. This is cruel to to do folks. good luck, and I hope you write the companies directly for help. ginnie
