Everyone is different but I could not tolerate these. I am hypersensitive and for many months could not tolerate a sock at all. I had to train my body slow to be able to again. I could open a sock shop with how many pairs I have which I can't wear. For myself since I swell I buy plus size people's sock and I am not a plus size women. Or by Med Ped brand I found some that have no binding at the ankle for when I swell. Med ped brand has many different types you may want to google and see.
I am not familiar with vein issues. Could you call the person who rx them and explain you have increase in PN pain. Maybe they are not the right fit or there is another type
