I've had that pre-seizure feeling also, even on anti-seizure meds. I have noticed that if I eat a small bowl of cereal (bran flakes, Cheerios...) it does seem to subside.

I rejected anti-seizure meds in the beginning, but then I was walking down a flight of stairs, had a small seizure and fell down the stairs, broke my leg and ankle on the way down

My seizures are small and nearly unrecognizable if one doesn't know what the outward signs are. My daughter was with me and knew immediately what was happening (she knows the "look") but couldn't catch me in time.

I take the meds now
