Yes, I've seen the trailers for John Carter. We have all the
Burroughs' Mars books. I read them so long ago... can't remember much about them now. The Disney movie looks like a digital thing. And I never imagined Carter looking so "pretty" like this guy! LOL I pictured him more rugged.
Hubby esp likes Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars series. I read two of them but couldn't get into Green Mars at all. Lots of science in those!
We also have read George RR Martin's series. The new one that just came out... Dancing with Dragons was such a waste.
The series started out well, fizzling out badly now.
