I actually saw this with my girlfriend yesterday, and it was a pretty good movie regarding relationships and even how a brain injury like that would basically alter a person. I didn't know it, but it was actually based off of a true story. They mention it at the end of the credits.
Having lost consciousness before and not having short term memory for quite awhile after I was able to relate to some of the frustrations. Granted she lost information as to being unable make new memories, but I still felt that it was a good representation of how everybody struggles to get back to the point where they used to be before the injury.

I am 24, had PCS since 2006 from hitting my head on carpet covered cement. In late 2008 I was in a car accident, which added neck problems (c2-c3 minimal bulging disc, c5-c6-c7 also bulging discs), to the equation. I was knocked unconscious both times. Overall PCS has been an ongoing problem for 6 years.
Current symptoms: Headache, insomnia (constantly waking up at night), dizziness, and now neck stiffness, and vision problems.
I am currently seeking vision therapy to help with the visual problems.
