Default Periimplantitis - can it be caused by other dental work?

Hello, I am a new member and I have periimplantitis. The implantologist scraped the tooth and the gum and it started healing but then the inflammation re-started again.

I am a frustrated because the implantologist does not want to do anything else. He says that he needs to take the implant out, and he is not sure that the tooth next to it can be saved.

I have had the implant since 2007, but I had to change dental clinics in 2009 and the new clinic insisted on replacing some worn-out fillings at the back of the mouth, the same side as the implant. The fillings were replaced on one back lower tooth and two back upper teeth, and after that I felt that my jaw "moved". Chewing is still awkward, even after the lower filling was sanded down six months after the original work. The original procedure "coincided" with the onset of the implantitis. The feeling I have is that all my teeth re-adjusted themselves, and the implant, of course, had to stay where it was and it was pushed out by the other teeth that needed to move.

The dentist says this is not possible.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? What can I do to preserve my implant and the tooth next to it? I don't trust my dentist any more.
