I wish I could remember the term my eye specialist used yesterday (Photo*** something - yes, that DOESN'T narrow it down

). Said it meant I was uber light-sensitive.
No kidding, I've experienced migraines from bright lights - especially fluorescent and reflective sunlight (like, off newly fallen snow, or puddles) - since I was a kid.
I wonder if the 'digital age' with more TV's, computers, smartphones and such available virtually everywhere has made us become more and more light sensitive? Or maybe the quality of light sources has gone the cheap route/energy saver route - without negative implications to the condition of our eyes in the equation?
