Default New Member with PCS - Depression Frequency of Dr visits?

I'm a new member in my mid-fifties dealing with severe depression diagnosed 6 months ago. I've been dealing with anxiety and depression for most of my adult life and in treatment for the last 8-9 years. Generally functional at a high level as an executive in the construction industry.

Four months ago I had a fall at home resulting in intercranial bleeding, concussion, acute delerium and now TBI resulting in PCS. Symtoms are headaches, memory issues, cognitive issues, organizational problems due to lack of focus and concentration, word finding problems, fatigue, lack of motivation and exasperated depression. Dizziness, sensitivity to light and balance issues are diminishing.

In addition to my GP, I see a neurologist, a neuro-psychiatrist and a cognitive behavioral therapist. The psychiatrist and therapist I have been seeing prior to the concussion. I am blessed with strong support from family and close friends.

I have already found a great deal of helpful information on the NT site and the open-ness and experience of the posting members has been sometimes encouraging and sometimes disheartening.

The only consistency to these PCS issues seems to be the inconsistency. My neuro-psych says there is a saying in the field; "If you've seen one TBI, you've seen one TBI"

I have so many questions, but right now my hot button is:

How often do others suffering with PCS see their doctors?
