When you first posted to me it also sounded like Post traumatic concussion.

I agree it usually hits right away. But I am guessing to a degree he was not
real active for about 2 weeks after it happened. Due to christmas and other activites. Because school is usually out for a while around then.

So it could be partially the strep throat and this both. My one suggestion
would be to make sure the infection is gone. Sometimes infections cause
things to continue. But I've heard of few cases of this happening to be
nausea. But the dizziness and other it could also be inner ear. And nausea is
involved there.

I would suggest you take him to a special kind of Neuro-opthamogist. They have someone sometimes that can check the ear for special conditions that
cause some issues. Also it could be a aura and its stopping the headache
from getting worse.
