There is a Cronic pain forum, Back issue forum. I have cervial issues and have been here for just under two years. I well know the pain you are experiencing. Even after my two cervial fusions, I am on pain medications. Many of the people here do go to a pain specialist. I would recommend you find the best one available. A good Pain specialist can often determine if you need further help, and give a reference to a neurologist. My pain specialist had trouble controlling my pain, and did indeed refer me to another neurologist where I under went my second fusion. Always it is a good idea to seek a second opinion. I am sorry this has come into your life. This site can help you get through emotionally while you go to your appointments. Often others who live near you can provide additional information on good physicians in your are. Please keep seeking help.
