Not only are those oranges a red inside, they do have a tart kick. Kind of like a tangereen, only better. We don't get them often down here even, but when I see them around, I pick up a few. They cost a bit these days just like all the good stuff for us does. It is better to spend it on one orange than a box of cookies! I think they are $1 each.
