thank you all so very much. it went really well and he even said that it will be a while down the road before i need to have my cataracts taken care of. i told him immediately i was nervous when he asked how i was and that i have been worried i was going blind since he had trouble getting a reading with his machine last time. he said i wasn't going blind and that i should have called him. i thought that was so nice. he mentioned something about cornea but i didn't pursue it. this time he gave me drops before we used the machine which he said was about two years old. he said i don't have to come back for another year. we talked about politics and a doctor who practiced heart surgery til he was in his nineties. he had his own private key for the elevator in the hospital and forced everybody in the hosptal to go to the ninth floor. dr rubman didn't know that story but enjoyed it. there were barricades up on park avenue. obama was in town for a luncheon at daniel's in the sixties which dr rubman said cost 35,000 a head.
i am so wound up i don't know what to do with myself now.
thanks again
fondly
