Sometimes vets use a tatoo mark on the actual incision site, so when they shave their little bellies you see a mark already there. Since the kitties are now being spayed so young, they are growing up with such little scar tissue or scaring that its hard to tell sometimes.

One of Jacks problems was that the humane society neutered him at just less than 6 weeks of age! thats insane! I know they want to control the pet population, but we are creating a society of urinary troubled kitties. Poor things. Its good to have it done between 5 and 6 months of age, not weeks!

Glad Hooty is all done, and almost home. She will be wobbly and groggy.
