mg = milligrams

you are probably used to seeing the dosage in micrograms:
mcg = micrograms

.1 mg = 100 mcg.
.8 mg = 800 mcg

200-400 mcg folic acid is a common daily dose for non-pregnant women.

800-1000 mcg (i.e. .8 - 1.0 mg) for pregnant women/women wishing to conceive.

so that's fine.
