If you really want to balance your GI tract.... I suggest Kefir.
A friend here suggested this to me last Sept when I was typically ill with my GI/gall bladder woes...and it not only fixes the inside, but also the female parts!
Kefir has
12 organisms in it whereas yogurts have 3 to 6 types.
Lifeway kefir is easy to find now, and even our local Costco has it!
It is really good, if you get the fruit based ones. The plain takes some getting used to IMO. It is a tasty smoothie, and I often have one for dessert at dinner.
Yogurt, even the good Stoneyfield, did not do that much for me as the kefir has.
