Welcome to Neuro talk. You found a good site for support and information. The EMG doesn't pick up everything thats for sure. Please seek another opinion with a different neruologist. Many cervical issues present with the kind of pain you described your husband has. I had x-rays, and a host of other tests. It was the MRI that picked up all my trouble.
