I can also sympathize. I'm sure there are alot of "us" out here. I've been disabled since 1995, and yes -- it does get depressing. I had worked since I was 11 years old! Due to severe spinal problems, I had to stop working, and like you said --- disability doesn't pay nearly what I used to make -- I'm a widow.

I don't volunteer cause being upright very long is very painful. I spend quite alot of time lying down. I think they frown on that when you're trying to help people! Besides, I"m 'bringing up' my granddaughter so I need to be home when she gets out of school. You never know what a teenager might get into. LOL

I wish I could offer some suggestions, but I just wanted you to know you're not alone. We ought to start an online club! LOL Please take care of yourself, and God bless. Hugs, Lee
