Default NO it's not ok!

Hey guys/gals, I am a former firefighter/paramedic. I was diagnosed with parkinson's disease and now I have to use a walker or a wheelchair to get around. My wife of 26 yrs left me last July, the house is probably going to be in foreclosure, my mom just had brain surgery in February and is now living with me. I don't drive due to the parkinson's I lost my license. BUT NO it's not ok to give up.
The best days are ahead. You have to believe that. Leesa your granddaughter needs you, SD I am sure your kids would be devastated should you leave them. As far as your marital relationship find a quiet time where the two of you can talk, preferrably not in the bedroom. Perhaps propose counseling including a medical exam to make sure you're up to it. As you know women are emotional and getting her in the mood means taking care of what is on her mind. Not sure I have said anything that means something but believe me I am there myself, just a little bit higher on the ladder today-in the depths nonetheless. I also read the Bible- alot you'd be surprised how much it helps. Along with prayer.
