Methylcobalamin is the cofactor in converting serotonin to melatonin in the brain. Melatonin is the sleep hormone.

If you are very low in B12 you will have trouble sleeping.

Over time as you get better levels of B12, you may not need the Benadryl.

But many people do use it to help with allergies and sleep induction.
