You might be dehydrated. Do you drink enough water during the day? Often, our bodies aren't hydrated enough first thing in the morning.
Like Brian said, it could also be your MG and not enough oxygen getting to your body. Have you been evaluated for sleep apnea? Some pulmonologists are sleep study certified and can do both pulmonary and sleep testing for you. They can also do an overnight oximetry. If they have the ability to do an in-home sleep study, that would be best. I sure couldn't sleep well during a sleep study!
Dizziness isn't normal, no matter what the cause. I think seeing your primary doctor AND a pulmonologist might both be necessary. It's best to rule out a problem, especially when you feel like you are "air hungry." When was the last time you had an ECG or cardiac workup? Are you possibly anemic?
