I don't know which came first. I was hit in the back by a car about 25 years ago. My doctor knew something was wrong but nobody knew about fibromyalgia back then.
I have been seeing my present doctor about 15 years. He diagnosed my with fibromyalgia. He sent me to a pain clinic this week and I have two buldging disk in my neck.
I don't care which came first just fix it.
My advice is find a doctor that has knowledge of fibromyalgia and stay with him or her.

My bulging disk was discovered from a MRI. It was the first one I have ever had. I go in two weeks for an epidural.

EXERCISE HELPS - I swim an hour about three times a week. I get on the eplical at the gym about twp times a week but not the treadmill. I don't want to put stress on my knees, hips, and feet. HOPE THAT HELPS
