Hi,
Welcome to NT.
You're not alone here. We do understand.
It is hard, sometimes, to get a test you think you need, if for nothing else, your peace of mind.
With a long history of migraines and facial numbness, I think a doctor would not take that too lightly and should treat appropriately.
All too often, I've been so wrong about my thoughts/diagnosis. Give a good doctor a chance to address your symptoms.
A peace of mind is worth a lot. I would rather know the truth and deal with it than to not have an answer for my complaints.
I might suggest you keep a journal, with your daily complaints, meds, foods, sleep, caffeine intake. Rate your pain level.
Keep doctors numbers and other communications in your journal for future reference. Can help you keep up with things.
Take care... (Broken Wings)
