Java is an internet program execution framework. some sites use it, others don't.

Is it the "speed test" site, that is telling you you need Java? or are you still in the process of installing Firefox?

Are you being prompted for a download?

If so, can you tell me the URL (http://the-stuff-here) that it says the download will take place from?
