Default new here, glad to have found you

I've got CRPS and neuropathy from a bad knee dislocation 1.5 yrs ago. My doctors dont seem to want to diagnose me officially with CRPS as I may look at the diagnosis as a pain death sentance. I am having a sympathetic nerve block in four days and looking forward to it although my pain doc says it may be so temporary it's not worth it. I'm glad now have a forum for my CRPS angst, thank you
My question is: Regarding the physical symptoms: The color changes in the skin of my leg and major swelling has gotten better over the year however the pain has not. Can the visible symptoms get better over time in CRPS while the pain is still crippling? Also, is it true that if CRPS is treated early there is a good chance of it going away? I'm afraid I may have missed the early boat
Many thanks, allnervedout
