I just had a bone scan. The results were that I have osteoarthritis in both knees, my spine and one of my thumbs. Can anyone here tell me what the prognosis is for osteoarthritis? Is this a condition that worsens with time? I also have Systemic Lupus and a host of other autoimmune issues. I was just wondering what the cause of this is anyway? I guess for now I just added this to my list and when I see my doctor I can bring my list of questions....but in the meantime if any of you have any information and/or experiences with this, I would greatly appreciate the feedback.
