I love the show too Lara but with Series 2 about to start in Australia, we're going to have to wait to see Shirley MacLaine because she doesn't join the cast until Series 3.

From what I can work out, series 2 covers the war years and ends with a Christmas special. They may even be a wedding on the horizon
