Welcome to Neuro Talk. I am also a former skydiver. I was trying to get my licence when my cervical spine got into real trouble. I am not sure if the shunt will prevent you from doing this sport or not. You better talk to your doctors about it. also there may be others on NT who may have participated in this sport too who have a shunt. Since this sport deals with air pressure etc, your doctor and some research into your condition would be a safe way to go. I hope you don't have to give it up. I loved it the first time I tried it.
