Absolutley...

I have severe noise (ringing) 24/7 a day. Also, it feels like a strong, painful motor that is running the noise. I am extremely sensitive to everything. Don't watch tv, listen to

music. Things like the air conditioner kicking in is painful, microwave, washer/dryer, dogs nails walking on the floor. It took me over a year to figure out that ear plugs help me

tolerate some things. At times, I wear them in the silence of my own house. You have to

play with them to find what's best for you. Although, not a designers choice, I wear them around my neck at all times, so when I need them I have them. The problem is...at times,

I'm not sure wheather I'm wearing them to keep the noise in or out? Hoopefully your's doesn't get worse.
