YES...this is very common with RSD. I can't say for sure that your particular situation is or is not RSD related but the itching can be a form of inflammation caused by the RSD. I get this every once in a while (thank goodness it is not all the time because if it was I would seriously go mad). But it is caused by the RSD in my case and it comes and goes like any other symptom. I would definitely have the docs check it out because if there is some other cause then you may be able to get some relief. One of the problems with RSD is that it can cause a lot of different things but those things could also be caused by other stuff so you generally have to rule out the other things before you can confidently say it is caused by the RSD.

I find that putting lotion on my skin is usually the best relief I can get from the itching. It doesn't take it away but it does take the edge off so I don't feel quite so insane.
