Sorry haven't posted in a while...when it rains, it pours! Had to put one of our two dogs, Murphy, to sleep on Easter Sunday

We think he'd been having small strokes and by Sunday, after my husband left for his family's easter dinner, he went downhill. Fortunately neighbor came and put him in my vehicle (too heavy for me to lift) and I took him to emergency vet place. He was comfortable and I brought him home for my husband to bury back with our other dogs in the apple grove.
Has been one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride as of late. I was crying, thinking of the significance of his dying on the day of our Lord's resurrection, and was comforted knowing he was running and playing in fields of flowers and will be waiting for us, along with all our other dogs who have passed on.
Is so hard to lose such a beloved companion but cannot imagine my life without canines. Was fortunate and found a puppy a few days later as my other dog was obviously grieving. So, now back into the days of raising a pup and keeping everything that's below 3 feet lifted high up. My shoelaces are taking a beating
Had my shoulder CT scans done on Good Friday,so hopefully will get to hear the results when I see doc. in couple of weeks. Sorry to be such a downer but hard to talk to husband as he and Murphy were best buds and this is very hard on him as he's already worried about his job.
Please continue to pray for us as we travel this rollercoaster of a road. Where is that calorie-busting dessert when ya' need it!! Think I'll sit here for a while at look at those delicious pictures posted by Rae.
