I have had shingles on and off for yrs. I was just told by my neuro that I should not have had a break out after the first one. I have never heard of that, you would think that my pcps would have told me that yrs ago. I can go for yrs without getting a break out but I am so thankful that I get in the back of my right thigh and it has never moved and I use a cream to help it heal faster without all the pain you go through if you don't use any meds.

If I could I don't think I would get a shot because I don't even take flu shots.
