I have another suggestion - start a
pain journal. Six months to a year from now you may have difficulty recalling exactly what you've tried, what results you got, what progressed where & how much, what helped, what triggerd events... things like that. You can find all kinds of samples/templates on the web. I suggest reviewing as many as you can stand, then coming up with your own - tailored to your particular individual needs.
