My chiro was Gonstead trained, plus he had additional knowledge, skills, techniques & used pain/discomfort relieving PT modalities as needed.
(Ultrasound, low level laser, IF stim, manual trigger point release.)
It was a very positive help for me.
He also is a long time chiropractor and very experienced, with a gentle technique. No fast grabbing and popping ever- always located the precise place and took time to makes sure before the adjustment..
But just like anything, there can be good practitioners and not so good...it's not always the title or label or technique - it is the person themselves that matters the most.
And that's what each of us has to assess and decide for ourselves.
