The pounding does two things. It over-stimulates you with noise and it causes vibrations that can subtly impact your brain. The vibrations should not put you at risk of further damage. It just brought your symptoms back to full force.
A day or two of rest and head ache meds should bring you back to your pre-MRI state.
Why did they do the MRI?
