Hi Jo*mar,
Yes the back pain was there although I informed the doctor that it was not as intense as when I went in on Monday (I could not even stand up at that stage).

I have never been to a naturopath before but maybe it'll be worth while? The specialist said he just wanted to get the bacteria infection under control before we talk about preventative actions. To him, it means taking Macrodantin (another antibiotic) daily possibly for an indefinite period of time. This is not something I'd prefer. I have read about D'Mannose being good for treating ongoing UTIs but not available in Australia.
