You should swing over to the peripheral neuropathy board. The tingling/numbness is a classic sign of PN, and the folks over there are so helpful.

I have to warn you though, that sometimes neurologists are not the most caring breed, so it's helpful to be armed with facts and knowledge before the visit. The people on that board can help you figure out a good starting point.
