oh boy... so am I!!!!! i am in my pre-menstrual phase right now... i'd most likely be having migraine after migraine... judging by the "hints" of head pain i occasionally get on one side, then the other... but only subtle "hints" oh what a relief after that awful month almost non stop.... ackk!!!!

Yes, I am going through the necessary steps.

I do rather feel as though i'm creeping forward ever so slowly, while the calendar is rearing up and slapping May in my face quite prematurely!

i dropped the ball on fixing my resumes (2 languages). there is very little left to do so i am a bit disappointed i left it incomplete. And there's no excuse i do have the time and ample "consciousness-windows" to do it. There are indications that school and student i recently worked for will request some time. I'd rather give them second priority. I want part-time employment but preferably with a dedicated language school. Hence my urgency to have materials ready to be "fired out" as soon as i am well enough to take on interviewing.

Anyway. Yesterday morning i tried to call for an appointment at the clinic, but the call center was O/O - "we invite you to call back later." LOL, "invite." i had to go to pdoc's so i suppose i declined their invitation. Today is a public holiday so 'twill have to wait till tomorrow.... sigh.

Heyyyy!!! can't call anyone or go anywhere today... perfect opportunity align those resume's eh? erhhemmm.

about gabapentin side effects - speech/cognition...

For the first time ever with gabapentin, when i most felt its effects, i had mild trouble with language - specifically
-- understanding normal-rapid speech (sounded like a rush of syllable salad)
-- replying to a question after a context switch
the last especially seems perhaps more of a general cognitive dulling thing.
but i was just wondering if you experienced either of these specifically.
example of the second one, is my parents were exchanging departure greetings - i was more or less following. my father turns to me and says what time do you have to leave. i say "da" (not meaning yes in russian, either! i look at the clock for help... by that time he has gone off to do something else.

ughhh.... scary.

I very much appreciate your being here for me.
