Wrote this last yr about when we had to move her to anew place.as she stayed with me for a year. I know everything passes on and there isnt any stopping death but dang it still hurts.

Mountain maiden,
Sun is fading,
Upon this wintry hill.
Ghost on a trip
Transporting ship
Cutting through frost biting chill.
Somewhere out there
A happy chair,
Calls my cargo import
Warmth’s awaiting
Hesitating
The cold, bitter to comfort.
Just as you wish
Old momma fish,
The start of new springtime.
It’s Dr. Seuss,
And mother goose .
Dancing their circles of rhyme.
