B2Y, it's different for everyone so don't panic yet.

The first time I had it there was no pain.....but I did have severe double vision. The second time I had it there was discomfort but no double vision. Just cloudy....almost like I was looking through a frosted window. The second time it was just my left eye. Most all my MS sx are on the left.

I just had my eyes examined last Thursday and told the eye doctor about my two episodes of ON. After the examination he said my Optic Nerves looked very healthy and it didn't appear that they were damaged due to the previous bouts with ON. I felt very fortunate for that.

Just make notes of all your symptoms so you can tell the doctor when you go. Let us know how it goes.
