I had different problems that got me into trouble also. I didn't know I was bipolar either. I wonder how things might have turned out for us had we known, and been treated, sooner.
I guess that is an alternate universe...

Yes, that does sound plausible. It sounds like she was interested enough that she might look it up or ask somebody else afterwards.
