Yes, Sally, Mr. Blessings usually does the up-and-down for me--in fact, he does about half the laundry. He wasn't feeling well today, so I just decided "Oh well, it will take me all day, but I'll git 'er done."

We have a place to put the washer and dryer upstairs, but it would take some remodeling--almost as tiring as the current plan!

It just struck me that the household chores to which I never gave a second thought have become one-a-day projects. Poo.
