I don' t get this at all. I am part of a (small but) fantastic group of MSers who get together at least once a month for support, meals or education.
We range quite dramatically in terms of level of disability, age, sex, and disease type. I could not imagine how awful it would be to resent others with MS and treat them badly.
We have absolutely no distinction in terms of support, and there is no resentment, nastiness or 'I have it worse than you...' going on.
It is always positive, warm and caring - the way support is meant to be.
