Metropolo lisonpril and hydroclorthysde for hbp.
Celexa and triliptal for biploar issues. 82% asprin.
Prilosec,
I use alovera juice, probiotics for colitis, and a fiber tablet,
yikes.

I have gained over 60 pounds and can not get it off, even sticking to a 1200 Cal diet.
My doc is good about this and said at least I am holding, I am up to 253 pounds. I know this should probably be in the weight control post but I have seen reference to some of of of these drugs causing this.

Lynda,

I did not have the problem with neurontin, which I took for years at high doses, but I did terrible with lyrica. I believe these medications are somewhat along the same line and do have weight gain issues. I also like you have had a large weight gain almost 70lbs and it has stuck like glue. I took lyrica back in 2006 and lost the weight after I stoppped taking it. It took a long time to take some of the 70lbs off. To be far to that type of medication I am older now, I was 50 in Nov 11, my life has changed completely in the past 9 years with my injury so I find it very hard to keep it off. I do have to keep to a excercise routine or forget I will be the goodyear blimp. So to sum up I think yes the lyrica did comtributed to the weight gain and I believe changed my body somehow. I know longer take lyrica or neurontin and haven't for over 3 years.

Good Luck
