I just posted a new member message a few minutes ago and wanted to add this message to the forum, just for information purposes.

I've seen a newspaper article and several items on the internet (respected sources) concerning possible relationships between PD and inseticides and other environmental effects. Nothing I could find indicated a relationship between PD and agent orange, but I had a long discussion with my new neuro about this possibility as the VA determined that I was most likely exposed to agent orange in Vietnam. He agreed with the VA that there is no currently identified relationship, but he make note of my exposure in my records for future reference.

If you're a PD patient and also were exposed to agent orange, I'd recommend discussing this with your neuro and getting it noted in your record just in case a causal effect is ever found.
