MRIs are not wastes of time. Theorizing without imaging and testing is reckless in my opinion. Don't put too mich trust in your PCP, see specialists.

My recommendation would be to see a neurologist, and possibly a orthopedist. You want to rule out other disorders before tackling TOS.
