Default Calcium Supplement

I am re-posting this question from the Celiac Forum to PN Forum (I hope I am not violating any forum's policy...). I just need to know if the calcium I take is gluten free or if somebody who has similar concern can share with me their inputs.

I am on gluten free diet, though my IGg and IGa Gliadin Antibodies and Transglutaminase were negative. The laboratory I went to used "deaminated". I read from the Gluten File that if one has neurological symptoms, the test should not be substituted with "deaminated" test. So, please bear with me..... below is my original post in Celiac Forum:

"Hi. I am taking Caltrate 600+D Plus Minerals in tablet form (purple label). I called the Customer Service and asked if this supplement is gluten free.

I was informed that they are not using any ingredients with gluten, however they cannot vouch the safety of the raw materials they ordered from different sources due to possible contamination. So, they cannot 100% claim that this product is gluten-free.

Is/are there anybody in the forum who is/are using Caltrate 600+D Plus Minerals who have had a reaction?

Will appreciate input.
Thank you.
