I thought I would give a bit of an update even though I'm not barely finished with all the work the dentist wants to do.

That first procedure - Went fine - BUT I was awake the whole time. He gave me 3 Lorazepams and 1 other pill (don't remember already). I was relaxed but awake - they couldn't believe it. Then the doc upped some kind of block shot they use for fibromyalgia patients. So as far as feeling any pain, I didn't but slept for the next 3 days.

Now tomorrow they are doing a surgical procedure on the upper left side of my mouth. We talked about IV sedation, but it's $400 and insurance doesn't cover it. So they are prescribing pills, but I haven't heard from them yet about what they are. He just said he knew it would have to be more than the first time.

So we'll wait and see. It may be the last one for this year due to insurance, but who knows.
