I forgot my prism computer glasses this morning so I decided to try the scotch tape idea. This actually does work great. I'm unable to wear an eye patch as my good eye goes all wonky and refuses to focus, but I'm ok with the scotch tape. Unfortunately one of my coworkers told me it looks kinda funny, but double vision vs. looking funny...

To Seagirl...I don't have any advice because I'm struggling with similar issues, but good luck.
