They also feel as if I've got thick socks on and padded toes. Very wierd. I'd always assumed it was to do with my bad spinal condition but my doc said it's not as both feet feel the same. Does anyone else on here have this without anything else wrong with them? I don't get any pain. I'm just worried. Thank you if you can answer this.

I have these exact symptoms...like I have tight socks on. I too, am not diabetic. I also think it might be due to some spinal condition because I sit a lot each day on a computer. I am 67, quite healthy and used to be very active in sports until about 10 years ago. I still cycle and indoor row although I have let this slip for a few months now. My numbness started about 4 years ago and was sporadic - now it is almost constant and more pronounced when I drive. You are the first person I have found who has described the same symptoms as what I feel.
Any news for you?
