I think you question would be better if you asked about specific symptoms.
For example, I struggle miserably with auditory over-stimulation.
I know how to avoid some environments and use foam ear plugs to better endure those I can't avoid.
I have a variety of memory struggles that I have learned to work-around.
The most important skill to learn is calming the mind to a point where thoughts can be processed more successfully. The first skills to learn for this is how to shut out external stimuli.
I often start by turning off sounds like a radio or TV. If I can, I close my eyes.
So, list the symptom you struggle with the most and hopefully, you will get lots of suggestions.
